Malta's government has tripled the Digitalise Your SME budget to €15 million for Call 2 and introduced a dedicated AI top-up of €107,000 for projects incorporating Artificial Intelligence — the first tranche of a €100 million national AI and innovation commitment.

Non-repayable grants for SMEs investing in digitalisation and AI. 50% aid intensity in Malta, 60% in Gozo. Call 2 opens 1 July 2026. Call 1 is still running — with cut-offs on 15 May, 29 May, 12 June, and 30 June 2026.
